Since one of my readers asked me to write about clothing, and since I really don’t have it all figured out, I decided to write about living with minimal possessions in general, with clothing as a sub-topic.

When I tell people about my life as a digital nomad, questions I often hear are, “don’t you get lonely?” and “How do you stand going to a place where you don’t know anyone?”

My answer is: not so far, and it’s easier than ever to stay in touch with old friends and make new friends. The world is small.

From Seattle to Tucson

My six-month stay in Seattle ended on October 31st. On November 1st I flew to Tucson with the goal of finding a short-term apartment to rent for the winter. Mission accomplished — I found an apartment with a 7-month lease (with the possibility of leaving early for a fee of $195). My new lease begins on January 1st.
